Keyshia Cole’s husband, NBA player Daniel “Boobie” Gibson, was arrested in New Orleans on Monday and charged with second-degree battery.
According to local reports, Gibson surrendered to police in the city’s French Quarter and was subsequently released from custody.
The events leading to Gibson’s arrest have not been disclosed, although it’s being reported that the incident occurred earlier this month during the Essence Festival, which he attended with Cole (see photo at right).
Gibson has spent his first seven NBA seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
